ACBuy’s lines to the UK and the tracking each one gives you
Read for what happens after shipment: who delivers, which ACBuy articles apply, which day count governs a delay and whether anyone will answer a question about the parcel.
The six lines at a glance
These are the lines ACBuy’s public estimator returned for the United Kingdom on 16 October 2026 at 500 g, 1 kg, 2 kg, 3 kg and 5 kg, with no product type selected; the same six appeared at every weight. We re-ran the query that day and matched an earlier snapshot exactly. Prices are the 1 kg quote in CNY before the coupon the estimator shows to visitors, and they will change.
The category column is how ACBuy’s compensation tables group lines. Royal Mail lines are not named in those tables; this guide provisionally compares them with “Packet Line (All countries)”, which lists UK-Tax-Free lines under older names. EUB-HN appears in no category at all.

| Line | Last mile | Table category | Cover on the line | Note that matters for tracking | 1 kg quote |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Royal Mail Duty Free EC-M | Royal Mail | Packet (by table header) | Free Insurance | Paid redelivery, notice not guaranteed | 132 CNY |
| Royal Mail Duty Free (Special)-S | Royal Mail | Packet (by table header) | Free Insurance | Paid redelivery, notice not guaranteed | 173 CNY |
| EUB-HN | Local post (China Post line) | Not listed | None offered | No enquiry service for loss, delay, damage, inspection | 210 CNY |
| EMS-HN | Local post (China Post line) | EMS | AC Insurance, paid | Not tax-free; local post delivers | 242 CNY |
| EMS-HZ (60) | Local post (China Post line) | EMS | AC Insurance, paid | Not tax-free; local post delivers | 243 CNY |
| UPS(HK)-5000 | UPS | Express | AC Insurance, paid | No re-delivery or return; you handle customs and tax | 383 CNY |
Royal Mail Duty Free EC-M and (Special)-S
Both lines describe themselves as a tax-free air route with steady delivery time and smooth clearance, charge the greater of actual and volumetric weight at L×W×H/8,000, and hand over to Royal Mail for the last mile. EC-M takes parcels up to 80 × 80 × 80 cm and declarations of USD 20 to 80; (Special)-S takes up to 60 × 40 × 40 cm, refuses declarations of USD 135 or more, and its Chinese name marks it as the battery line.
For tracking, two points. Both offer paid redelivery but warn that not every returned parcel will get a redelivery notice, so a missed card can quietly become a return. The dated estimator attached Free Insurance to both. That badge does not determine the table family or prove cover for an incident. This guide uses Packet provisionally; ask ACBuy to confirm the applicable group and your parcel’s protection. “Duty Free” in the name describes the route at order time; check the carrier’s terms and the GOV.UK rules for your destination rather than treating it as a promise about tax.

EUB-HN: tracking with nobody to ask
EUB-HN is the odd line. Its note says economic route, cooperation with China Post, postal clearance, “no enquery service for loss, delay, damage, inspection” (ACBuy’s spelling), and asks you to avoid shipping valuables. All sides must be 60 cm or less with length plus width plus height no more than 90 cm, it is charged on actual weight, and it is not tax-free.
No insurance option was attached to it on 16 October 2026, and neither compensation table names it. In tracking terms that means the postal statuses on the postal page still apply, but there is no day count after which ACBuy treats the parcel as late or lost. Choose it for low-value, replaceable items only.

EMS-HN and EMS-HZ (60)
The two EMS lines share a note: economic route with China Post and postal clearance; volumetric weight only applies if any side is 60 cm or more; declarations of USD 135 or more unacceptable for now; not a tax-free route, so customs and taxes may fall to you; the local post delivers. EMS-HN accepted declarations from USD 0, EMS-HZ (60) from USD 15.
Both are named in ACBuy’s compensation tables, where the United Kingdom is one of the countries with a 60-day delay criterion. The public estimator showed paid AC Insurance with a 3% field on 16 October 2026. The AC Care notice separately specifies a minimum charge of 20 CNY up to 667 CNY insured and 3% above that; confirm the option and amount for your actual parcel. Expect the postal statuses: Plane Arriving, then Arrive at Destination, then whatever the UK post records. The estimator’s delivery bands have no defined period or sample; they do not establish that a particular quiet third week is normal.

UPS(HK)-5000
The express option: commercial clearance, UPS for the last mile, volumetric weight at L×W×H/5,000, longest side under 120 cm and second side under 75 cm, declarations from USD 40 to 120, remote areas recharged at cost. The note ends: customers need to handle customs and taxes, there is no re-delivery or return service.
Tracking runs on a UPS number beginning 1Z from early on, so the relabel gap rarely applies. The status to watch is Warehouse Scan repeating at one centre, covered on its own page. Its delay criterion is the shortest of the six, 30 days after shipment.

Packet, EMS, Express: where the labels come from
ACBuy’s compensation tables sort lines into three groups and list them by name. EMS-HN and EMS-HZ are listed under EMS; UPS(HK)-5000, UPS(HK)-8000 and UPS-TK under Express. The Packet group, headed “Packet Line (All countries)”, lists twenty-seven names such as UK-Tax-Free-M, UK Duty-Free-battery and Duty-Free Air Cargo-UK, none of which match the estimator’s current Royal Mail names.
We place the Royal Mail lines in the Packet group because they are duty-free air lines with Free Insurance and the header covers all countries, not because the table names them. This is an inference, not a confirmed name match. Ask ACBuy which table family applies to your exact parcel. The late-or-lost page explains what each group’s day count means.
