ACBuy basics for UK buyers: the company, the charges, the photos
What ACBuy is, what it charges on a UK parcel, how its pound prices are worked out and what the standard quality check does and does not cover.
What ACBuy is and who runs it
ACBuy is a purchasing agent: you send it a link to an item on Taobao, Tmall, 1688, Weidian or another Chinese marketplace, it buys the item for you, receives it at its warehouse, photographs it and ships it abroad when you ask. It calls itself a cross-border shopping company and leaves the international transport to outside logistics firms.
The contact page lists [email protected] for customers and names WYMOND LIMITED with an office at 3/F 23 Wharf Street, London SE8, adding that this is not a returns address. The registration agreement names UK law. Only the Portuguese version of one warehouse article names the warehouse city, Huizhou in Guangdong (read 16 October 2026).
For a UK buyer the useful part is the split of roles. ACBuy holds your order, your stored items and your parcel record. The carriers on each line hold the parcel once it has left. When the two disagree about where a parcel is, ACBuy’s support asks the logistics provider; you ask the UK carrier.

How to buy with ACBuy: the official nine-step sequence
The twelve original images below follow the official shopping guide preserved on 16 October 2026, in its exact order. They are interface examples, not a promise that every current account has identical controls. Each step explains what to check before proceeding.
1. Find the product
Paste the seller link into ACBuy or search by words or image. Check that the result is the same item and version. If the link is not recognised, confirm the custom-order details; a manual form does not by itself establish a special-platform fee.

2. Choose the variant and check the basket
Select size, colour and quantity. Compare centimetre measurements with something you own rather than relying on a size letter. Keep the seller link and the selected variant so you can check the warehouse photos later.

3. Pay for the product order
The first payment covers the goods, domestic delivery and charges shown at checkout. International shipping comes later. Check the currency conversion, payment-method charge and balance-refund terms before topping up.

4. ACBuy purchases from the seller
ACBuy places the order with the seller. Watch for messages about stock, substitutions or price changes. A paid order may still be waiting for the seller to prepare and dispatch it.

5. Review QC and warehouse storage
When the item becomes Stored, compare its photos with your order and request any missing detail. Eligible returns use 120 hours from the next full hour after Stored, with seller acceptance and exclusions. The 90 free storage days do not extend that return window. Paid storage extension is conditional, up to 180 days total; the described 28-day grace period is not another automatic free extension.

6. Select items and submit a parcel
Choose which stored items to send together. Check the address, actual contents, restrictions, packing and truthful declaration. Compare weight and volume; ask about a parcel rehearsal if the final packing could materially change the quote.

7. Pay the shipping deposit
Check the line’s current terms, item restrictions, included services, taxes and actual protection. The initial shipping deposit can change after final packing. A historical insurance badge does not prove that your parcel or a specific incident is covered.

8. Follow packing and dispatch
The warehouse packs, weighs and hands the parcel to the logistics provider. Review any cost adjustment and keep the parcel and carrier references. Warehouse dispatch and the carrier’s first scan are different events; a quiet status needs the right explanation for its route.

9. Receive and check the parcel
Check the box and contents before closing receipt in your account. Keep labels, photos and messages if anything is damaged or missing, and check the reporting deadline immediately. Confirm receipt or use any reward feature only if the option is actually offered in your account.

Why UK buyers pick ACBuy, and when another agent suits better
Common services to compare. Buys from the seller, stores the item, sends photos, ships on a choice of lines. ACBuy offers these services; compare their scope, exclusions and total cost with the alternatives you are considering.
Where ACBuy stands out for the UK. It charges no purchasing service fee on the regular platforms. It publishes its line notes in plain sight, including unflattering ones such as EUB-HN’s no-enquiry clause and UPS’s no-return clause. And it has written specific articles for the tracking statuses UK buyers actually see.
When to use someone else. If you need an enquiry service on the line you intend to use, or that publishes its compensation rules as text rather than a picture, compare before you commit. The same applies if you need a line ACBuy does not offer to your postcode, or a delay refund on a Packet line, which the 2026 table does not give.
What ACBuy charges on a UK parcel
On the regular platforms ACBuy takes no purchasing service fee; special platforms such as Xianyu or Xiaohongshu cost 10 CNY per item. You pay the item price and any domestic delivery to the warehouse when you order.
Shipping is quoted per parcel. Every UK quote on 16 October 2026 was built from up to three items: A1 basic freight by weight, AI1 “Customs and Declaration Fee” fixed per parcel, and CZF “Warehouse Packing Fee” of 8 CNY. The fixed part differs by line, and EUB-HN had no AI1 at all. Payment-channel fees are not published; the checkout page shows them.

| Line (1 kg) | A1 freight | AI1 customs and declaration | CZF packing | Total CNY |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Royal Mail Duty Free EC-M | 104 | 20 | 8 | 132 |
| Royal Mail Duty Free (Special)-S | 135 | 30 | 8 | 173 |
| EUB-HN | 202 | none | 8 | 210 |
| EMS-HN | 224 | 10 | 8 | 242 |
| EMS-HZ (60) | 225 | 10 | 8 | 243 |
| UPS(HK)-5000 | 360 | 15 | 8 | 383 |
Pound prices: which exchange rate the estimator uses
ACBuy quotes in CNY and converts for display. On 16 October 2026 its site returned two figures for sterling: a rate of 7.6479 CNY per pound used for display, and an actual-time rate of 8.8879. Pound prices on screen were therefore about 16% higher than the actual-time rate would give; 132 CNY converts to about £17.26 at the display rate, before payment fees or any coupon.
For tracking this matters only when you compare costs between lines or with another agent. Comparing base quotes in CNY separates the freight from currency conversion. Then add the actual payment-method and bank costs to compare what you would pay. The calculation is (8.8879 ÷ 7.6479 − 1) × 100, about 16.2%. This compares two exchange rates; it is not a measurement of the total payment cost. The gap moves, so treat it as a reading for that date.

QC photos: what the standard check covers
When an item reaches the warehouse ACBuy photographs it three times at normal resolution: the front, the back, and either a side or the logo. The homepage advertises 3-5 free QC photos; the photo service page defines the standard check as three. Each extra detail photo is 2 CNY, and a detail video of 20 to 90 seconds is 25 CNY.
The inspection is appearance only: colour, large areas of damage, stains, the size on the label or tag, the model or version. Colour difference, size error and how the item performs in use are outside it. Electronics are not powered on and sealed goods are not opened.

How to check QC photos before you approve a parcel
Check what the photos can show and identify what still needs confirmation. Match the tag size against what you ordered; ACBuy reads the label, not the measurements. Look for stains and large damage in each of the three views. Compare the colour against the listing under daylight on your own screen, knowing ACBuy does not judge colour difference. Count pieces and accessories if the listing promised them.
If one view is unclear, a targeted detail photo may help you decide before paying for international shipping. A video is not a guaranteed functional test, and QC does not certify authenticity or fit. And since this site is about tracking, one more check: confirm the item type before you submit, because a battery or a liquid changes which UK lines will accept the parcel.

The useful pause between buying and shipping
At the warehouse, compare QC photos with the saved order: size label, visible measurements, colour, count and condition. Request a clear close-up or a specific measurement when the overview cannot answer your question. Visual QC cannot authenticate a product or establish every function. Raise an eligible return or exchange before arranging the onward parcel.
Your first payment buys the goods and covers the relevant domestic costs. Your international shipping payment comes later, once the contents and route are selected. Allow for payment and conversion charges, packing and destination charges where applicable. A quoted shipping deposit may be reconciled after packing; retain both the estimate and the final charge.
Payment cost and getting money back
Compare the actual amount charged with the CNY order amount. Exchange conversion, payment-provider charges and your bank’s costs are separate components; a display-rate comparison is not the total payment premium.
The retained wallet policy excludes Coinpal and SEPA deposits from withdrawal refunds. A refund to your ACBuy balance is not money received in your bank. The stated 1–5 working days for finance processing are not a guaranteed bank-arrival time.
