Help for a quiet ACBuy parcel: who to write to, and the words on the tracking page

Contacts in the order that usually gets an answer, a support message that works, the tracking terms on this site and short answers.

Where to get help, in order

  1. The status page on this site. Most quiet spells are covered by an ACBuy article; the check tells you which.
  2. The UK carrier. Once a UK number exists, the carrier holds the latest record. gov.uk points late-parcel questions at the delivering company.
  3. ACBuy online customer service. The site footer lists seven-day cover from 09:00 until 18:00 Beijing time (written there as “9/7”) and gives the customer service email as [email protected]. The retained documentation describes a 24-hour order-enquiry response target; it is not a guarantee for every support conversation.
  4. UPS directly for UPS(HK)-5000 parcels held at customs, with the 1Z number.

ACBuy’s help centre at cs.acbuy.com has ten English articles; the documentation centre on acbuy.com has the rest.

A support message that gets a useful first reply

Support answers faster when it does not have to ask for anything. Put the AP parcel number in the first line. Then give the line name, the shipment date, the last tracking entry with its date, how many days it has not changed, and the UK tracking number if there is one. Attach a screenshot of the tracking section.

Say what you want: a carrier check, confirmation of the final number, or a case once the delay count has passed. Keep one thread per parcel so the history stays together.

Write in short plain sentences; replies may pass through translation. If support answers that the parcel is “in normal transit”, ask what the last event recorded by the logistics provider was and when, so you have a date to quote next time.

Tracking terms used on this site

AP number
ACBuy’s parcel number, in the form APXXXXXXXX. Its articles ask for it whenever you contact support.
1Z number
A UPS tracking number. ACBuy’s UPS article says it usually starts with 1Z.
Re-labelled parcel
A parcel given its final destination tracking after leaving ACBuy; ACBuy says that number normally appears 3 to 7 days after shipment.
Last mile
The carrier that delivers in the UK: Royal Mail, the local post or UPS, depending on the line.
Postal clearance
Customs clearance through the postal channel, as on the three China Post lines.
Commercial clearance
Customs clearance as a commercial shipment, as on UPS(HK)-5000.
Problem determination
ACBuy’s term for the criteria that decide when a parcel counts as delayed, lost, damaged or seized.
Stored
The order status once an item is in ACBuy’s warehouse; free storage begins at this status. Eligible returns use the next full hour after Stored as the start of a 120-hour window, with seller acceptance and exclusions.
QC photos
The three standard warehouse photos per item.

Short answers about stalled UK parcels

These are the questions the four ACBuy tracking articles answer, phrased the way a worried buyer would put them. The longer pages carry the detail; this list is for a quick read on a phone.

My parcel has said Plane Arriving for five days. Is it lost?

That status and duration alone do not establish loss. ACBuy says the status can last several days with no change and that this is usually normal. Formal delay criteria are separate from this status, run from shipment and depend on the confirmed line family and exceptions.

There is no UK tracking number a week after shipment. Who do I contact?

ACBuy online customer service, with the AP parcel number. Its Tracking Not Updated article says the final number normally appears 3 to 7 days after shipment and that you can contact support after 7 days unless flights or customs inspection explain the gap.

UPS keeps showing Warehouse Scan at the same place. What now?

Treat it as a customs hold. Check for UPS emails or texts, look the 1Z number up on the UPS website and pay any duty or tax shown, and contact UPS if nothing has arrived.

Can I ask ACBuy about a parcel on EUB-HN?

You can ask, but the line note says EUB-HN has no enquiry service for loss, delay, damage or inspection, and it is not named in ACBuy’s compensation tables.

Does Duty Free in a Royal Mail line name mean I will not pay anything?

Do not read it that way. It is how ACBuy labels the route at order time. Confirm what the line includes for your actual destination and check GOV.UK’s rules for Great Britain or Northern Ireland. A route label does not establish the tax due on your parcel.

The tracking says delivered but I have nothing.

That is a different problem from quiet tracking: ACBuy’s delay count stops once tracking shows delivery. Contact the carrier with the UK number first, then ACBuy support; its receiving guidelines set short reporting windows after signing.

Three terms you will see around product finds

W2C
Where to cop: a request for the purchase link, not a check of the seller or product.
GL / RL
Green light and red light are community opinions about QC photos. They do not approve a shipment or request a return in your ACBuy account.
Volumetric weight
A way of turning box size into chargeable weight. Check the divisor and any size trigger for your chosen line instead of applying one formula everywhere.
