ACBuy Spreadsheet categories for parcels heading to the UK

Sixteen catalogue shelves with a note on how each kind of item behaves on ACBuy’s UK lines, plus the route from a find to a tracking number.

What is the ACBuy Spreadsheet?

Each card in the ACBuy Spreadsheet shows a product photo, a short title and a link to the original listing on Taobao, Weidian or 1688. Nothing is sold here and nothing is held in stock. The value is in the browsing: other buyers have already found these listings, and the categories let you scan a shelf instead of typing Chinese search terms into a marketplace.

Treat a card as a lead. The price on a card is the seller’s price when the find was saved, in CNY, before ACBuy’s charges and before UK shipping. Sizes, colours and stock can all have changed since, which is why ACBuy checks the listing again when you order.

One more thing a card cannot tell you is how the parcel will behave once it leaves China. That depends on what the item is and which UK line you pick, which is why the shelves below carry a shipping note rather than a star rating.

All sixteen shelves, each with a UK shipping note

The shelves range from clothing to products that can need extra checks before shipping. The notes come from ACBuy’s line descriptions and shipping lists, not from guesswork about customs.

T-shirtsT-shirtsFolded tees rarely trip a volumetric rule: on the Royal Mail lines ACBuy divides L×W×H by 8,000, and a soft parcel stays small.CategoryHoodiesHoodiesHeavier than tees, so the per-kilo part of the quote matters more than the per-parcel fees.CategorySweatpantsSweatpantsCheck the exact fabric, brand restrictions, weight and postcode before assuming a line will accept the parcel.CategoryJeansJeansDenim can add substantial weight. Use the warehouse weight for your selected items, rather than assuming a fixed weight per pair.CategoryOuterwearOuterwearA padded coat is where volumetric weight bites: compare the actual and L×W×H/8,000 figures before choosing a Royal Mail line.CategoryWomenswearWomenswearThis tile opens search results rather than a category, because the catalogue sorts by item type, not by who wears it.Search resultsSports jerseysSports jerseysCompare the fabric, sizing and packed weight of the selected sports shirt before choosing transport.CategoryHatsHatsA stiff cap crushed in a mailer is a damage claim waiting to happen; a box adds volume, so check the volumetric figure.CategoryBeltsBeltsA heavy buckle adds weight; material and brand restrictions still need checking for the exact item.CategoryBagsBagsRigid bags are often packed with filler, which is why their parcel size can exceed what the bag alone suggests.CategoryJewelleryJewelleryTiny parcels, but the declared value still has to sit inside each line’s accepted range.CategoryEyewearEyewearLenses scratch and frames snap; ACBuy’s damage rules exclude glass and other fragile items sent without extra packing.CategorySneakersSneakersA shoebox can turn a 1.2 kg pair into a larger chargeable weight on lines that divide by 8,000 or 5,000.CategoryWatchesWatchesACBuy’s shipping list caps the batteries packed alongside goods at two sets a parcel and turns power banks away; battery goods narrow the line choice.CategoryElectronicsElectronicsSpeakers, earbuds and keyboards with built-in batteries fall under the estimator’s battery category, which removes some lines.CategoryPerfumePerfumeA liquid size category is not approval to ship perfume. From a find to a UK tracking number

ACBuy’s homepage sums up its process in four steps: place orders, quality check and storage, submit parcels, international shipping. Here is the same route with the UK detail added.

  1. Pick a find. Open a category above, choose a card, copy the marketplace link.
  2. Order through ACBuy. Paste the link into ACBuy’s search box or DIY order form, choose size and colour, pay the item price and any domestic delivery.
  3. Wait for “Stored”. The seller ships to ACBuy’s warehouse; ACBuy takes three standard photos per item and stores it.
  4. Submit a parcel. Group stored items, choose one of the UK lines the estimator offers for that content and weight, pay shipping.
  5. Follow the tracking. Your parcel gets a number starting with AP; the carrier number appears on the Parcel Detail page, sometimes days after shipment.

What to bring across from the seller’s page

The Spreadsheet is a searchable directory, not a separate checkout. Use it to shortlist a product, then save the original listing and the precise size, colour and quantity. Compare measurements with something that fits you. Matching catalogue photos are not proof that two sellers offer the same material or version, and a starting price may change when you select an option.

ACBuy places the purchase and receives it in China; the seller supplies the item and the shipping company carries the parcel. Keep their references separate. A question about the ordered variant needs the item order, whereas a delivery question needs the parcel number and the actual tracking event.

Items that narrow your UK line choice

Item content, dimensions and destination can change the lines available. Three checks are particularly useful. Goods with built-in batteries fall into the estimator’s battery category, and ACBuy’s shipping list limits the batteries that travel with goods to two sets in any one parcel, with power banks refused outright. The estimator groups liquids by size, but that does not prove that a particular perfume or alcohol-containing product is accepted. Large or dense items push the chargeable weight up on lines that use volumetric weight.

For Britain the battery question has a named answer: the Chinese name of Royal Mail Duty Free (Special)-S marks it as the line for goods with batteries. Its line note gives a 60 × 40 × 40 cm size limit and the same redelivery wording as EC-M.

Why this spreadsheet is built around tracking

A spreadsheet site earns its keep in two ways: links that still work, and notes that save you a mistake. We keep the category links pointed at live catalogue pages, check them for dead links when the site is rebuilt, and date every fact that can change. The last full check was 16 October 2026.

What makes this one different is the end it starts from. The official buying guide covers the steps before shipment. This site also explains the weeks after, so the notes on each shelf are about how the item will travel, and every status page links back to the line you chose. If a link here is dead or a fact has moved, the about page says how to tell us.

We also say what we could not check. ACBuy’s parcel pages sit behind a login, so nothing here describes them beyond what ACBuy’s own articles say.
